I'm gonna make some depression tips for ppl who need it today
-if you can't have a shower, splash water on your face and arms and put on deodorant. You'll still feel fresh and smell good without needing to get undressed or anything. Helps if you have dysphoria, are having a bad insecurity day, or just don't have the energy to shower
-if you can't make and eat a whole meal, grab out a red thing, an orange thing, a yellow thing and a green thing from your pantry or fridge and eat those. If it helps, listen to music while you do this. Different colours often mean different vitamins, so at least you'll be getting some variety in your diet. Helps if you have disordered eating habits or general lack of energy.
-if you can't do all your homework, do the things due closest. You can do the rest over the week when you have more energy and you can always ask for extentions. Helps if you have anxiety around school work or just don't have the energy.
If all you do today, or this week, or this month, is just survive, that is good enough already. Just doing small things to keep yourself trucking along is so important and so amazing. You got this. It will get better. <3
