you're gonna go insane when i tell you that the ending was actually supposed to be happy 🫣🫣 like i said, the fic had essentially been half written for a star wars character (back on an old acc) and had a planned, fully fleshed out, happy ending but uhhhhh ,,, things took an unexpected 180 mid writing it ,,, oops !!

genuinely, the sad ended was the LAST thing i expected as well. i just kept writing and well. here we are.
