No. 71 Walk Along A Beach At Midnight
DONE
I picked perhaps the worst possible evening to do this but it is done!
It was raining and cold (it was also July but that's the British weather for you) and I think I underestimated how eerie it would be, especially on my own. And the weather didn't help with that either because the sea was quite rough and at one point the wind whistled off the metal bodywork of a boat which was a bit creepy.
But it was nice in a way, in how it was quiet, I think if the weather had been a bit calmer it could have been quite relaxing.
I took pictures as best I could (not great considering it was pitch black) and screenshot the time on my phone seeing as it being midnight was the main thing for this one. I went back the day after (the weather still wasn't much better) and took pictures of the beach during the daylight:
All of us prefer places, where we can go with pleasure, enjoyment and curiosity…
One of those places for me is an Irish pub…
Irish pub from an abstract point of view is like extension of your own house, the atmosphere of which you can feel cozy, friendly, safe and playful around other people… who wants to spend this time with you in the open space of friendship, real connection and good craic.
In the first few seconds of walking into the pub, you can easily notice the feeling of it and also specific spirit, which is in the air, the spirit of conversation or connection as well. Somehow you can recognize with ease, if the place around you is matching your own preferences…
I created this piece of art after my favourite espresso macchiato and half pint of Guinness at the Mile Bush Pub…

71. Watch the Sun Set into the Ocean Horizon
I cannot recall a time in which I have seen the sun set into the horizon, especially living in the lower mainland of British Columbia. So, visiting an island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea I had to take advantage of the opportunity to watch a Caribbean sunset. Now, though it had been a particularly sunny day, there were clouds forming several miles away; a tropical storm was making its way afoot. In this instance I am willing to give a little concession with not having seen the sun disappear exactly beneath that blue line, especially when it still looks this beautiful.
