I wanted to type a lot of stuff here, but I am 90% something would upset someone, so I’ll put the two points I wanted to say instead.

1. Don’t Kink Shame People

When did I get into art? ???IDK. I just do it for as long as I know. I don't remember what motivated me to draw.

It feels like cheating 😂

Coffee: I drink coffee black. It has been a journey, from milk and sugar to only sugar to no sugar, but honestly now I couldn't drink sweet coffee if you paid me for it 😂

The best coffee, hands down, is coffee made in a moka. Espresso machines are all the rage but the espresso has nothing of value on a good, old, seasoned moka coffee. Also, espresso should be 2 sips long at most, not a cup (yes I am somewhat italian, can you tell).

I'm sure some fancy coffee enjoyers can really tell the difference between this and this torrefaction process or country of provenance, I absolutely can't; gimme first price at lidl and I will find no difference with fancy Ethiopian 100% arabica slow roasted under 85° brewed coffee. My wallet appreciates.

Rant of my choice: I am utterly disinterested in most things I used to be interested in. Maybe it's real life kicking my ass at the moment and demanding all my attention, maybe is that I need to find other ways to engage in fandom stuff that don't end up in burn out and ptsd but still keep the interest alive, anyway, I have nothing to rant about and isn't it sad?

... let’s call it a sort of story time to rebuilt bridges. (I’m sorry for the length.)

I’ve seen this a lot the past month that’s why I sorta wanted to give my two cents (feel free to pass me if you want to). First of all: I love how the K-Pop Genre on it’s own is growing steadily, how the bunch of weird people joining each other online a few years ago became an international sensation from the youngest to the oldest. And I love having new fans around, hello dears! It’s awesome seeing you so passionate about your favourite bands in no time, learning their names and everything about the members’ characters etc. Here’s the point.

Some of us are around quite long. I’m into this genre for a life span of a damn Chinchilla. Means we’ve seen a lot of bands coming and going, some of them growing into the biggest bands of the industry. But this is a pretty rare story most of the bands we started with vanished or do have a very unsteady schedule. Since the genre itself is pretty fast living with what seems to be a ‘throw away if not 100% successful’ mentality (sadly oc) we surely have past a few hundred bands. What I basically wanted to say while trying to give you an impression of the struggle:

Please don’t yell at people coming into your fandom without knowing each and every member as if they were part of your family. Nowadays a lot of fans tend to get cocky if someone asks about a certain member not promoting, telling them stuff like ‘well as you can see he/she is not around’. Asking about someone abscence doesn’t mean someone is to stupid to find out about injuries or scandals but your favourite band isn’t automatically everyone elses nbr 1. And just because someone has another fav band they have to keep up with doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to know. They are still fans supporting your group. And isn’t it the fastest and safest to ask the only source being interested in telling the truth?
