How to make gifs from Youtube videos without Photoshop and the likes
Here you will find a tutorial on how I make my gifs from Youtube videos. You do not require any program like PS or GIMP, only the followings:
youtube video
giphy
ezgif
I am not the best at explaining so message me if you have any questions, but I will try to make it as clear as possible and use screencaps to make it clearer.

Step 1 - Find the video
First step is pretty easy. You need to find a video you want to gif. For the purpose of this tutorial, I will be using Zara Larsson’s Ain’t My Fault music video.
Step 2 - Cutting the scene
For this step, you will need to open Giphy on the create section.Â
Once you are on the gifmaker page, you will need to copy and paste the video’s url to the top bar.
Once it is uploaded there, you should have the video on top, and two bars right under. The first one is the time of the video, use it to decide approximatively where you gif begins. Second one is the length, use it to decide approximatively where you gif ends. In my case, it looks like this.
Last step to cut the desired scene is to click the ‘create gif’ button at the bottom.
Step 3 - Cropping and resizing
This step is the same as the second step of my crackship tutorial.
After hitting the ‘create gif’ button, it will bring you to a new page with your gif. To crop and resize it, you will need to right click on it and select copy. You go on the ‘gif crop’ section on ezgif, and paste the gif’s url.
After uploading, you will see the current size of the gif right under it.
To resize it, all you have to do is type in the desired size in the correct sections.
Once you are done cropping, you just have to press the ‘Crop it’ blue button at the bottom. A new section will appear under the button with your cropped gif. If the gif is still too large and you need to resize it, you must click on resize.
It will lead you to a new page, where you can type in the desired width and height.
After that, just click on the ‘Resize it’ blue button and the resized gif will appear in a new section.
Step 4 - Select final frames
Since the second step didn’t allow to precisely select the frames, this step is the one to do it. For this, you will need to click on the split button under your resized gif.
It will need you to a new page, and all you have to do is click on the ‘split it!’ button. It will then split the frames from your gif. To delete some, you have to click on the ‘edit animation’ button under all the frames.
On the new page, all the frames will be there, but with a few options added under each. All you have to do is click un the ‘skip’ button of each frames you don’t desire.
Last step after this is to click on the ‘animate it!’ button at the bottom, and your gif will appear in a new section.
Step 5 - The result
Once you have saved your gif, you may share it and use however you want!

How to make crackship gifs without Photoshop and the likes
Here you will find a tutorial on how I make my crackship gifs. You do not require any program like PS or GIMP, only the followings:
gifs
ezgif
meme center’s gif maker
I am not the best at explaining so message me if you have any questions, but I will try to make it as clear as possible and use screencaps to make it clearer.

Step 1 - Find the gifs
You need gifs that flow well together. Think of the different point of views of he camera during a scene in a movie or tv show. For the example, I will be using those two gifs:
Step 2 - Cropping and resizing
You need to go on ezgif under the ‘GIF crop’ section. I suggest you open 2 tabs, one for each gif. Once you have uploaded your gif, you will find the current size of the gif right under it(see picture).
For now, the gif is already the right size, but if you do need to resize it, you can just type in the desired width and height(see picture).
Once you are done cropping, you just have to press the ‘Crop it’ blue button at the bottom. A new section will appear under the button with your cropped gif. If the gif is still too large and you need to resize it, you must click on resize(see picture).
It will lead you to a new page, where you can type in the desired width and height(see picture).
After that, just click on the ‘Resize it’ blue button and the resized gif will appear in a new section.
Step 3 - Put the gifs together
For this step, you need to go on the meme center’s gif maker. First you will click on ‘Create Animated GIF’, then ‘Edit/Use an existing GIF or image’ and ‘ Browse GIF/JPEG/PNG on Your Computer ‘. You will then select your first gif. To add the second gif, you have to click on ‘ Add Image ‘, then ‘ Browse Image ‘ and select your second gif(see pictures).
Once both are uploaded, you will want to modify the lenght of each using the 2 lines at the bottom(see picture).
I suggest each gifs isn’t more than 25 frames each, so you need to cut them using the little grey arrows at each ends of your gifs’ lenght. You may also want to make them the same lenght. Once you are done messing with the gifs’ lenght, you click on ‘Save GIF’(see picture), the rest should be pretty simple to do.
Step 4 - The result
Once you have saved your gif, you may now share it anywhere you want!
