[ For @ever-searching​‘s Merces! Uwaah-- thank you for letting me do another for one of your amazing characters! And I hope I can hit as close to home with this one as I did with the other two! The moment I found out you had an Allagan clone character, I went “yesss you are meeting all of my standards” (which isn’t much really); and I definitely had to do a song for him! He is pretty much... the exact opposite of Amosis, which actually gave me a good head start on the direction I wanted to go for the style and lyrics for music. SIAMÉS feels like a good middle ground between upbeat and dark, and I had some reservations on this song when I listened to it - until the very end.  I feel like this song captures the feelings Merces might have felt (or attempted to process feeling) upon waking up and realizing he was thousands of years misplaced. Alone, no home, no purpose and no place to be; where the lyrics “Who said you’re on your own?” encompass the fact that he’s not alone. Not in the way previously imagined before, but that another and others stand by his side regardless of his origins and original purpose - to learn and grow from. Aaahh thank you again!! I hope you enjoy the song, and thank you for participating again! ]
