so he asks me my fave characters and I'm obviously going for spiderman, black panther, loki etc bc they look so good and are so interesting and smart and sexy (also personal preference tho)
and he's like, what about thor???? and I'm like well thor is very funny and I like him but I don't find him attractive that way
and he's shocked. and asks me WHAT ABOUT CAPTAIN AMERICA?

and he is so shocked bc men think cap is the most attractive one bc hes idk handsome ig??? and has muscles? and that's the male gaze
and im like, well all of my fave characters also have muscles, have you seen Tom Holland's abs?
and he's still shocked bc he thought women like stuff like cap (which is not completely untrue but also it's not that general and most women don't). and all men think the same. that's why all of the mcu movies have all of these male gaze scenes where they just stand boringly with abs out, which, is hot ig, but also, women went crazy over shit like idk Mr Darcy's scene of his hand in the pride and prejudice movie lmaoooo so,,,,
if they showed cap's hands I might have liked him more ig sorry lmao
