Thank you @monbons for the tag this morning! Your spirit week outfit is brilliant and I'm counting the days until your next chapter of The Boy Next Door. I've only got one true WIP at the moment, but that doesn't mean I didn't take progress pictures of my other makes with the intention of posting on WIP Wednesday.
I'm currently working on a cardigan using yarn that I bought from my trip to NYC last month. One skein turned out to be the entirely wrong weight of yarn, so I'll need to buy another one soon. Luckily, it's a widely available brand that I should be able to get locally. I thought to use my adorable stitch markers for a change!
I finished the last sweater I was working on and it's so soft and cozy. It's perfect for the dreary days we've had over here!
I also finished a dress for Little Purple's first skating competition this weekend! Since she'll be skating to Long Live by Taylor Swift, I drew upon her dresses for inspiration. It took 25 hours of sewing and gluing and she feels like an ice princess when she wears it! It was an absolute labor of love. Fun fact: I used 6,360 rhinestones that I glued on individually!
Now starts the mad dash to Halloween, which I haven't even started (thoughts and prayers).

If you’re talking about Flynn versus my use of Alex/Alexander then I can assure you that they are two very different people who definitely have their own, separate physical bodies lol. They are also, subsequently both my boyfriends. I don’t like... talk details often because it invites drama, but yeah. Our little four person polycule, including my daring genderfluid princess-of-my-heart, Meg, is a pretty good place to be, tbh.
We’ve been a thing for... wow, a year or two I guess, give or take when we like... made the things official lol.
