First character I've ever created, changed his personality multiple times before settling to giving him a healthy dose of C-PTSD along with sadistic, antisocial, histrionic, narcissistic personality traits. I can't reveal it all otherwise it'd pretty much spoil my story — The More You Grow — but Conan is probably the type of character you'd think was written for Wuthering Heights. He's complicated, hard to read. Constantly forcing selfless veneers upon himself. He views everything as a mere play where he always has got to be in control for the sake of the game.

Didn't dwell much on the fact he's a hitman. Has been taken under a secret organization since he was eighteen. Killing isn't much of a problem given his early tantrums of violence that would cause him to lash out upon small creatures and former students of his boarding school. He never had the best reputation, was constantly called on to the school's therapist.

However, he ended up driving him crazy. He'd always make up a different story right when the poor man thought he'd been at the verge of finally prying him open like the stubborn, Byronic coconut he is.

He's built on my self destructive thoughts. A mess, in short. Hence one of my favorites.

And my story will focus on his potential redemption arc. Not gonna soften his past and his trauma in the slightest, naturally. Given everything I've regurgitated in here, you'd already know it's going to take more than 100k words for this moron to forgive both himself and my protagonist.
