I’m gonna rant. Because I need it off my chest because I’ve been crying over it and that’s super unhealthy for me.
Why doesn’t anyone show appreciation for Duster? I track the Mother 3 tag in hopes of seeing it but here I am scrolling through post after post of the same thing and same characters and it’s just...! I love Lucas, Kuma, Claus, Fuel, everyone in this series but it’s all I see and what I have to really SEARCH for is appreciation/art/writing/mention of my favorite character, Duster, in any of this. People act like he doesn’t exist, purposely forgetting him for shipping purposes or sometimes only using him for shipping purposes and memes. That’s what fucking gets me because it makes me super angry that people degrade his character when they DO have him or they just don’t have him at all.
I see super cool artists drawing cool gore art, cute fluff art, really cool art and writers in the fandom writing pretty stuff for all the other characters ASIDE from Duster. It’s like, again, he doesn’t exist. I don’t like that! He’s my favorite for reasons; he’s something I used to cope with and someone I relate to due to physical and mental injury. I wanna see people appreciate and love him too! Not because they have to but because they wanna and think he’s an awesome character. If you’re not good at drawing him? Draw him anyways because that’s the only way you improve! You’re not good at writing him? Send me drabbles and stuff I can help you out! I wanna see appreciation for him and people to actually,,, put effort into showing it. I’ve made a few posts like this before in my past but again the point still stands
He’s really important to me personally. I want him to be important to other people besides me. I want people to show it like they show Lucas and Kuma.
