I worked on redesigning some old fan-characters I made a while back into original designs since for some reason inspiration struck. None of these designs are 100% set in stone. I also did some experimenting with one of the brushes while I was at it.
Some rough(?) concept art for Klurbi, one of the five Administrators of Purgatory in my currently in-production Stupid Purgatory Comic, as it is workingly titled.
The pics are captioned with slight insight.
I thought I’d give my Self-Avatar character a sundress to try to make myself feel better after a rough yesterday.
I thought I’d give my self-avatar character a new outfit since I was starting up a new project with her. I’ve started undertaking the Homunculus Nightmare challenge, which you can find here, if you’re interested in that.

So I finally decided to remake my Self-Avatar sprite to meet with the standards of the other characters I’ve sprited in this particular style.
This incarnation, I think they look pretty! The sprite is scaled up for this picture, obviously.
So I've been wanting to establish a new aesthetic for my self-avatar character for a while; something distinctly non-human. After messing with a cute squidsy thing and some other weird creature that evades description, I think I've settled on "decaying shadow," as I called it in my sketchings. They’re a shadow with a flexible mask and hair and idk I think it looks kinda neat.
So yesterday I doodled some monsters.
