Another of my TMNT AUs that I might do something with someday. NKoK stands for “The Ninja Knights of Kamélot” - Please note: 亀 or kamé is Japanese for Turtle.
Pic 1. This one obviously needs some MAJOR work. But needless to say, it’s Raphael and he is VERY displeased. I was trying to design a unique hood for him here, as each of the four brothers wears one as part of his knight garb. Each of their masks is different as well.
Pic 2. This one’s pretty straightforward. Leo is receiving a Mystic Weapon - the sword Kaliburn. I was actually visiting relatives the time I sketched this; I was showing my cousin’s kids how one draws on a computer.
Pic 3. This one is just li’l ol’ Mikey; for reasons I can’t quite understand, I keep trying to draw Mikey in sexy poses - I don’t know why. Anyway, here we see he’s the archer of the group and his breastplate ornamentation is unique to him.
Pic 4. I originally posted this on DeviantArt not really intending to show anything else from NKoK (and then Tumblr came along) so yeah... Anyway, the turtles each wear ornamentation on their chests to display their MiyuTaishi or Muta Stones. The turtles were actually born with these stones; the MiyuTaishi are the source of the Hamato brothers’ powers and the reason they were made into Knights. Their parents, Yoshi and Shen, were vassals of King Splinter until it was discovered that their children had MiyuTaishi, the whole family was then moved into the castle where the four young turtles were trained in the ways of Knighthood.

Age of L.U.N.A - Six Feet Deep (Official Video)

Got some Summer vibes on the blog tonight. Let me introduce you to a crew from London i literally just found out about today. Mad! Age Of L.U.N.A consist of two Mc’s (Butch Arkas / Kyote Noir ). A female vocalist (Daniella Thomas) and the producer (NK-OK). Taking the vibe to the “back in the day” steez. These guys are really sick! The crew have got it going on for sure. Butch and Kyote go in with some smoothness then switch to the flashy steez every now and then to mix it up. Daniella sets the vibe with the illy harmonising and the hooks. Then to finish it off NK-OK got the drums swinging for a perfect groove. It’s a perfect combination of little elements that they all bring to the table.
Their chemistry seems to be on point! This song reminds me of ‘Get Live’ by Strange Fruit Featuring Erykah Badu. Check it out if you haven’t heard of it and be sure to check for Age Of L.U.N.A in the future.
Big ups to Ross Lasme on the visuals as well, the video is wicked! Takes you to a place where the essence of hiphop was born.
