The name is a combination of the words Watch and Nixie and is a wrist-watch that uses nixie tubes to display the time - how cool! This watch puts one of the most delightful retro elements right onto your own wrist, leaving you feeling extremely vintage. NIWA is styled with a particular aesthetic that gives off a mad-scientist vibe. It has two tiny (IN-16) nixie tubes in the center area with flowing blue coils on either side. The tubes will light up displaying the time to the user, while the blue coils glow in the background all fitting within a 55mm home. On top of the dial is sapphire glass, which gives you a clear view, while also protecting the watch from scratches or being dropped. NIWA is so stunning that you won't want to stop looking at the time! Nixie tube creating is an art in itself and what is even more tedious and incredible is making them THIS tiny! These tubes however are not power intensive, so charging will need to happen every 4 to 6 day. It comes equipped with a MicroUSB, therefore any regular smart phone charger can charge this bad boy up. Creating a more personal experience, NIWA allows you to choose your own strap that will accompany this neo-vintage stunner.
