Indulge in the rich and smooth flavor of organic nitro cold brew coffee. This recipe combines the purity of organic coffee beans with the creamy texture of nitrogen infusion for a delightful coffee experience.
Ingredients: 1 cup coarsely ground organic coffee beans. 4 cups cold filtered water. 1 vanilla bean optional. 1/4 cup organic cane sugar optional. Nitrogen gas cartridge.
Instructions: Combine the coarsely ground coffee and cold filtered water in a large jar or pitcher. If desired, split the vanilla bean and scrape the seeds into the mixture and add the pod for extra flavor. You can also add organic cane sugar for sweetness if you prefer. Stir well to ensure the coffee is fully saturated with water. Cover the jar or pitcher and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours for optimal flavor. Strain the cold brew concentrate through a fine-mesh sieve or a coffee filter to remove the coffee grounds. Transfer the cold brew concentrate to a keg or another container suitable for nitro infusion. Attach a nitrogen gas cartridge to the keg and infuse the cold brew with nitrogen by gently shaking the keg for about 30 seconds. This will create the signature creamy nitro texture. Serve the Organic Nitro Cold Brew in a glass with ice, or enjoy it straight from the tap. You can add milk or a sweetener of your choice if desired.
