Skeppy and Bad have known each other only for couple years, but hit it off really quickly and are now in a happy qpr.
Sapnap was first jealous of how quickly Skeppy came into his and Bad's lives, but calmed down after realising how important Skeppy is to his dad. Now he often jokes about Skeppy being his stepdad (skepdad).
Bad is basically an immigrant from the Nether and doesn't always understand Overworld culture, so Skeppy helps him out with it. They have matching pronouns because of this.
-> Because he's younger and a half demon, Sapnap adapted to the Overworld better than Bad.
Note: Skeppy is from the caves and gets also confused by overdweller culture sometimes, but knows a lot more than Bad because he's been around longer.

Both Bad and Skeppy are nocturnal, but Bad often only catnaps through the days.
Skeppy can eat different minerals and prefers them over human food. Bad prefers food from the Nether like warped fungus.
Both of them can change their sizes, just in different directions.
-> Bad can go up to 9'6, his true size, but thanks to magic is often around 5'9-6'1 ft.
-> Skeppy can technically become smaller and smaller but it's not adviced as the diamond to flesh ratio starts to change and it's energy consuming to return to the regular size of around 5'8 ft.
Because of their natural habitats, Bad likes warm or even hot places while Skeppy prefers cooler places.
Some of Skeppy's jewellery is actually a gift from Bad.
Only c!Skeppy headcanons:
Diamonds of various sizes grow all over Skeppy's skin at all times. They shed naturally every once in a while, but can be removed manually with tools, like pliers (this does hurt and scars easily). While Skeppy doesn't mind them anymore, he still tries to keep the gems in his face and hands minimal.
Skeppy is capable of growing a second skin made out of diamond when he's in danger or stressed. It can be removed manually, but it's preferred to be shed naturally so it doesn't scar. It's also a lot of work.
Lived most of his live in the caves with other gemfolk, but moved to the surface as a young adult.
While he loves Bad a lot, he despises Nether.
Only c!Bad headcanons:
Bad can manipulate shadows and often stores things in them.
-> Similar to the usage of Duat in the Kane Chronicles.
Bad's trident, Mr. Pointy, is made out of netherite and is basically always being "borrowed" by Skeppy. Bad doesn't really mind this as he can just manifest a new trident out of the shadows.
-> Mr. Pointy has a diamond and a piece of cloth from Skeppy.
Whatever they speak in the Overworld, it's not Bad's first language (neither is it Skeppy's?). Bad's a great chatter in Piglin talk and gets amazing deals because of it.
Because he's from the Nether, Bad has a lot of jewellery and decorative items made out of gold.

I think I'm sticking with the no body Bad simply because I think that has a lot of interesting story potential (as if I publish any stories I make up lol).
Demon headcanons/worldbuilding because I love the consept of a true form
Bad and Sapnap are both demons, but different kinds of demons - Bad's more of a shadow based demon that has no body unless it's bound to something or someone. He's more like a shadow in the corner of your eye, a mist that you walked into. In his true form he can't really touch anything or communicate through talk, but he can be sensed. He's that eery feeling that gives you goosebumps, like you're being watched. These demons are mostly passive, but powerful as they can control shadows and have abilities to mind manipulation; people from the Overworld came to the Nether, learned about them and how to bind them to things to make them their servants. This practice is mostly been forgotten.
Sapnap on the otherhand is only a half-demon, so his body is less demon-like than Bad's (who's full demon). He's a fire/lava based demon who's true form can be mistaken for lava. These demons are semi-aquatic (in lava tho, forgot the word for that) and have glow in them. They also seem to be always emit heat so hot that you can't be close to them without overheating. Sapnap being only half demon makes his body temperature higher than normal human's, but not that much that it's notable from one feet away. These demons are mostly passive as no one really bothers them, but they have a tendency to get irritated quickly and act aggressively when needed.
I just think Bad would love all kind of gold jewellery because he didn't use to have a physical body and he would see all those piglins and their gold everything and he'd be absolutely mesmerized by it (((makes you wonder how he and skeppy met))).
Anyways now that he has a physical body, he has a lot of gold objects.
I absolutely love your character designs for Bad and Skeppy!!! The cloak on BBH is so beautiful and Skeppy’s hair and pants are so cool. I’m very good at not practicing my art but you are giving me inspiration and motivation to try and come up with some character designs or to just practice.
