mmh yup i get exactly what you mean, i’ve been seeing it on twitter for years now and every once in a while it pops up again and people go crazy over it
wish is nct and they’re a part of it whether people like it or not, yes they debuted years after the other units and i think people were so used to the former units as a whole that wishes debut just seemed unnecessary but yk i guess it’s valid in a way but the plans for a japanese unit were in the works for years already and if anything i think it’s nice that the wishies have the other units and older nct members to rely on in a way??
even if wish debuted as a separate group, it doesn’t really matter because people would have found something else to hate on..
and for the riize thing, people just don’t know what to hate on tbh. one moment they hate on riize for the silliest reason and the next they praise riize just to bring wish down in the process??
i could get why they think riize fits nct but nct is so versatile literally any group could fit in a way, but on the other hand, nct wish is not nct 127 or wayv or dream. they’re wish and they have their own sound, they are not even necessarily neo coded, they are wish coded 💓 !!
sigh i love riize and i love nct and at the end of the day, we should all just mind our business and let these young boys live their dreams and support their music!!!
