“i won’t kill you, jenny.” that didn’t mean he was in the mood to entertain her. the vicious, violent thing that hides inside his hearts wants to lash out but this is jenny. his daughter. whether or not she hated him, whether or not he deserved it (he did, of course. he knew that more than anyone) he wouldn’t cause her physical harm outside of self defense. “whatever you think of me, i’m no mindless slaughter machine.”
she’s angry in the way she almost never is, the one where she looks almost scarily calm to anyone who doesn’t actually know her, to anyone that can’t see past the walls she’s built up against people outside of her family. but this is her family, and so she’s certain he can notice the difference. “you’re going to have to. if you think i’ll let you hurt anyone else on this planet, you’re going to have to.” she can’t even bring herself to say that she hates him, knowing it’d just be a lie. even after what he’s done, she can’t, and maybe that’s what kills her the most.
