more obscure Syb & Bec headcanons for fun:

Blondie - amateur aesthetic photography blog (cf. this). Dark and impersonal spaces. Never any commentary but does answer asks tersely.

Angel Eyes - Has four blogs, possibly more. Creepy art // his carvings blog, very creepy aesthetic blog, porn blog, and an unconnected discourse/shit-starting blog that he uses to mess with people when it suits him. 

Tuco- Porn blog (mostly cliche hentai) and shitposting/personal/gunblr blog. Is always starting shit with other bloggers. constantly vagueing, everyone knows you’re vagueing about Blondie and everyone knows he doesn’t read any of it.

Mortimer - Public and very informative gunblr blog and personal/writing sideblog. His gunblr has a lot of followers but he secretly wishes his purple prose was more popular. 

Manco- Single fandom sideblog plus an aesthetic/personal/lowkey gunblr main. You think he’s Serious and Scary but is actually a really nice person if you talk to him in chat. Him and Mortimer are LDR dating via tumblr. It’s cute. Is the only person who knows Mortimer’s gunblr and his writing blog are the same person.

Joe- Shitposts, does this blog even have a theme??? a fun guy honestly. Memes for days and blowing shit up. Sort of gunblr but not really. 

Ben Novak- Cute and helpful studyblr. Tumblr mom. Pure.  

Cudlip- Mess of multifandoms blog, main fandom is Mario. very enthusiastic and will fite anyone who is mean to his mutuals. Does not want the discourse. Bad at tumblr and can barely figure out how to tag someone let alone when someone tags him.

Chuncho- gunblr. But also reblogs big dogs and the occasional leftist post. and shitposts. and nudes. he’s not a very organized blog. 

Nino - Five sideblogs, gunblr (how he met Chuncho), pro-capitalist discourse, anti-shipping sideblog, hardcore BDSM porn blog (yes he’s a giant hypocrite), Nietschze-focused personal blog where he talks about his ~problems~. Comments on Chuncho’s nudes a lot.

I wrote another fic instead of... literally anything else! It’s vaguely angsty PWP and god I didn’t expect how out in the open this new hobby would make all the weird shit I’m into but THATS OKAAAAAY.

It was almost too easy.

Uhhh Nincho and Cudvac came to mind almost simultaneously....hmmmerrr.

In terms of commonality between the two, it seems like both have to go through some kind of betrayal (intended or no) of their ‘bandit past’ in order to be brought into the fold by the rich foreigner. Obviously for Ben it’s a lot more benevolent and pure-- he just wants Cudlip to have friends and be okay with himself. Whereas Nino very much wants control over Chuncho. 

The endings are both ambiguous but appropriate for both. It would be interesting to do a longer post on parallels between the development of their relationship (it SEEMS like they’re polar opposites, and yet, the more I think on it, the more there could be something neat to talk about there).

I find it interesting (and I’m guilty of this in my writing too) that the natural side-step from bandit is to roles like ‘law enforcement’, on the ‘good’ end of things. But for the ‘bad end’ side of things, the sidestep is to ‘businessman’.
