I'm such a dumbass though. I was writing up that post thinking 'omg cool idea I am so cool and original!' Then I was tagging and this nagging sense of familiarity started to hit me and the comparison clicked in my brain and I had an '...oh, wait' moment :p
Even funnier - now I think about it, I rather think I've considered Cas powering up using Dean's grace al a Toya and Yukito BEFORE... possibly at some point in S06, before we learnt about Cas' dirty secrets, I think I was daydreaming scenarios where Cas powered up from Dean to help him fight/defeat Raphael...
Ah well. It's a fun daydream anyhow :)
