Nika was born and lived in Moscow, Russia her whole childhood, however, her parents made sure she always learned about Korean Culture. Her family moved back to Seoul in 2012, when Nika was fourteen years old.
Nika became interested in Kpop after hearing 4Minuteโs Volume Up and TVXQโs Mirotic, but only started to consider become an idol after she heard f(x)โs Pink Tape album. Sheโs also a big fan of Ladiesโ Code.
Nika used to be part of a dance group with other friends who also had a dream of becoming idols, she was casted by RBW in the street after a dance competition in Hongdae.
Dominika has a soundcloud account she runs since pre-debut.
Nika said that her biggest inspirations are Mamamooโs Hwasa, F(x)โs Krystal and former Wonder Girlsโ Yeeun and Sunmi.
Nika posts monthly choreography videos in Oneusโ official channel.
Nika is really close to soloist AleXa, they used to be part of the same dance team.
Sheโs one of the members who does vlives more frequently.
When asked about the type of music she likes, she said she doesnโt limit herself to genders, but likes rock music a little bit more.
Nika likes to play with dark and strong shades of makeup and, according to her, is not afraid to show her feminine side even if sheโs in a boy group. Her daily routine tends to be more basic and neat, though.
