Another gift commission for @mrneighbourlove from @ridersoftheapocalypse !

A family portrait of Prince Malakath (in green), Chione (in blue) and their son Nihilus (in lavender), taken shortly before an attempt to flee the prince by his wife and son gets his wife killed~

Had a fun trying to portray the growing tension between the parents! Getting a color palette for their clothing that made them look like a cohesive group was surprisingly difficult with their varied skintones lol. But in the end I like that Malakath's clothing colors represent how he was described as a seemingly wonderful man at first but underneath is someone cruel and manipulative. Nihilus has some of his father's attitudes in him so they share a lot of the same colors but where Malakath is covered up, Nihilus is happily exposed with less to hide.
