9, 11, and 13 for the problematic/villain character asks?
@nighttbound these are great questions
A line Limbo won't cross under any circumstances
limbo's not going to hurt a kid. kids already have it rough. nothing limbo does can ever be comprehended by a young mind, so he has turned his back on big customers just because the job would involve someone young. he even gets the heebie jeebies about people in their early 20s.
Can Limbo fall or be corrupted further if pushed?
yeah, i'd say so. i discussed a post apocalypse AU where limbo's screen keeps him alive against his will. with literally nobody but a gun and the voices in his head, limbo wanders the wasteland, killing anyone he sees.
in this main verse, limbo will do pretty much anything you want, provided you wave enough money in his face.
Are Limbo's loved ones the exception to their behavior, or does he treat them poorly?
limbo and tabby's relationship is generally idyllic. in limbo's brain, he likes to think that he is a normal guy with a shitty job. doing goofy relationship stuff with tabby kinda keeps him alive, both literally and metaphorically (tabby created and maintained his life support system, which kept him from dying as intended). people in the local scene know not to "fuck with limbo's girl." tabby sees him as a reserved but upstanding man, who struggles with severe physical/mental problems but is genuinely trying to better himself (keep in mind that, in the manuscript, limbo is trying to leave the mob, and is generally less aggressive than on tumblr).
tabby is an interesting dilemma i want to explore more. it depends on how you interpret her. tabby has never hurt or killed anyone, but she is...complacent. tabby isn't really self-sufficient, and relies on limbo to both protect her, and support her financially (if tabby's inventions were to gain traction, they could also be used to save lives, so there's that as well).
