what the fuck is up with “closed” nightfury species’???
Like closed species that’re just hybrids/an already-existing species with random other traits from various other animals that’re to make money are awful already
But people have taken nightfuries and been like “Omg it has a shark tail: closed species” or “no more wings and call it cave-dwelling: closed species”
Like??? No??? I can put a shark fin on my nightfury oc and it wont be a closed species. If you want to make a closed species for HTTYD or another fandom, go apeshit with an actually original design??? HTTYD has such a wide plethora of design traits in the canon series, why are yall being so lazy?
