Anyways, I've explained briefly here, those two hit off as more like a bartering at first. For Nightmare it was security and recovery, while Classic was promised to not have himself and his family get killed.
It's not everyday you see an LV 999 monster after all, but Classic had been pretty null after learning/remembering about the resets. He was too calm in Toriel's opinion.
And yes those two met at Sunset, pretty poetic because they got married at Sunset too. (I'll draw their wedding next ☝)
