Hey it's been a little while sense I've made a post about this, but I just published Chapter 9 of my web novel, Night Hopper: Hero of a Fallen Star. If you're looking for an original superhero/anti-hero story with elements crazy sci-fi mystery please check it out! Right now there's 144 pages/ around 40,000 words for you to read and my goal is to put out 2 new chapters every month. In a world where 3% of humans are born with superhuman abilities known as Titles, a system of heroes would develop to fight off villains who misuse their gifts as well as threats from beyond the Earth. However, the young Rayleigh Robinson would soon come to realize that life isn't as simple as good vs. evil when he discovers Drako-Knight, a hero he had once admired, may have had something to do with the disappearance of his super-powered friend, Silvia. No longer being able to trust the heroes, Rayleigh wishes he could do something about it himself; the only problem is he's a regular teenager with no title.
Fortunately, the universe must have been listening to his wish because he finds a mysterious abandoned U.F.O. crash-landed in the forest. With an assortment of alien technology at his hand, Rayleigh finally has a chance to make a difference in his home city of Shadow Brook. And what better way than to make a suit and take on the vigilante alter ego known as the Night Hopper. Balancing high school and crime fighting won't be easy, but Rayleigh is determined to uncover the conspiracy around the disappearance of his friend and expose Drako-Knight's corruption to the world.
