Study Tips for Night Classes
night classes aren’t that scary dw!! it’s just a little more important that you remember to eat dinner at a consistent time, and that you travel with a friend when you can, or call campus security when you need someone to escort you to the public transport stops (better to be safe than sorry!)
ofc you’re going to get home later, so it’s up to you but i would try and adjust my night schedule rather than my sleeping schedule.
as a victim of late finishing night clinics, if i tried to push myself to study after i got home, i would almost always sleep for 10+ hours (like 2am to 12pm) and the day just feels wasted.
better to just sleep early and wake up early to get your stuff done - doesn’t mess up the other days of the week too where you don’t have night classes
but!! super important that you write down anything important that you need to remember or anything you must get done in the morning in your bujo before sleeping, because when you sleep sometimes your brain just wipes the slate blank!
a lot of times i would forget that i had something due the next afternoon after a late clinic and then be caught out in class D:
make sure you’re on top of your organisation and revision! important for everyone, but especially for night classes since you don’t have those hours after class to consolidate the information that you’ve learned, you need to put one extra session of revision in the morning when your mind is the freshest!!
night classes actually have one super good advantage (other than being able to sleep in the morning), which is that it makes you more productive during the day. because you know that you don’t have the luxury of time at night, you can motivate yourself to study more effectively and efficiently in the late morning/early afternoon to get everything done!!
that’s basically it for night classes! they’re not too different from day classes, you’ve just got to make a decision about what you’re going to do after class that’s all! hope that helps!! ^_^
