This is a very good video. There are some very good points on why itโs very important to not respond to vitriol with vitriol.
There is no question that the NIFB (New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist) are a group of hateful homophobic bigots, and they *do* cross a line big time by advocating for execution of the LGBTQ community.
You will see in the video why itโs *not* a good idea to sink to the level of bigots! Itโs because itโs *exactly* what the bigots want, so that they have ammunition to use against you.
Today is the anniversary of the Pulse massacre.
I live very close to Orlando, Florida and today they are holding the memorial service and Iโm heartbroken that I will not go. (Iโll tell you why later) Iโm equally heartbroken that the โNew independent fundamentalist Baptist churchโ (NIFB) will be holding a โMake American Straight Againโ conference in Orlando today. I strongly encourage everyone to read this article:
Yes, really.
The NIFB wants to encourage more harm against the LGBT community and is here to โpublicly celebrate the tragic deaths of the 49 people who lost their lives that weekend, but to advocate for more.โ Honestly Iโm disgusted that this is even real! I am extremely fearful that the people who put together this awful campaign (or its supporters) will try to bring harm to the good people who are mourning and honoring those who died, which is why I wonโt be attending the memorial service tonight. So any of my Florida followers who might be going to this event I encourage you to be safe, be careful, travel in groups and spread the word about whatโs happening.
If you ask me, I would say it is not only Tommy McMurtry that is sexually attracted to pumpkins. Chances are, Steven Anderson, Patrick Boyle, Robert Jimenez, and Matt Powell are also probably pumpkinsexuals.
