Can we applaud the acting in this episode? Everyone did amazing, but Cooper and Jace? The blimp scene? Literally listen to the desperation and pain in Ray's voice as he pleaded Henry to give him the spear. And Henry's facial expressions! Scared, but putting on a brave face and accepting his fate. I've watched it so many times and I get chills every time. Such a beautiful, angsty moment. I'm going to miss them so much.

As much as Ray's writing has changed, he is still the guy that freaked out when he thought Henry got blown up in the clock shop, the one afraid of letting Henry continue being his sidekick because he could get hurt, the one that carried Henry back to the Man Cave and held his hand after being hit by a dream beam, the one that didn't want Henry to fight Drex in the first place because of the danger involved, the one who immediately ran to check his unconscious sidekick's pulse amidst a battle, the guy who sheltered Henry and his friends from a potential explosion with his own body, and the guy that helped a weak Henry down the tube after losing his powers. Despite his recent attitude change, I firmly believe that that Ray is still in there. He cares about Henry and the others more than we're seeing in this season. If you need a reminder, go back and watch some earlier seasons. I just did a complete rewatch, and it was so worth it ❤

(Spoilers) I feel SO much better knowing that Henry gets to live his life, but is still connected to Ray and Swellview. Their banter and the "See you at Thanksgiving?" line really got me emotional
