While I am strongly in the "they are dating" camp, that is one thing I don't understand. Why did they use their public accounts to send messages to each other?
i think its more for the fandom + to make a point to the jobless jokers than for themeselves to give us clues on whats going on with them. so much of their shit was public especially online and there is so much spec about it i feel like it makes sense especially Nic who is very online (and has always been the one to give the fandom clues and hints from her and Luke to polin to her other projects) and knows we are watching to do that. like Nic can post full pics of Luke by himself and with her and doesnt need to show just his arm or whatever and doesnt need to delete it and repost shit to get attention, Nic doesnt need to call the paps or pay outlets (imo) to get people to ship her and Luke and she has real friends who would protect her from the paps and care about her, or stalk fanpages, etc

and yes i agree about the lyrics tho i really dont think Nic is that private. she yaps about her life a ton and its easy to find out a bunch of stuff about her and even her family (like bruh i dont even really want to know about her family and yet i have learned so much info against my will cause its easy to find !, people who are comfortable with knowing that stuff will tell me and others about it, half the time this info comes from Nic i swear!) + on pinterest there is tons of photos of her in like high school and drama school i just think we dont know much about her romantic affairs cause she wasnt famous enough when she was in a real relationship for people to pay attention + i dont think shes been in real deep love or a serious relationship until Luke which is why shes a lot more public and stuff with him imo. unlike Luke I think shes fine being single.

A lot has changed. Fans were not dissecting every post back then as they do now. Nic knows that the fans have been at the edge of their seats since the start of the tour. She definitely knows that the fans are anticipating, waiting for clarity.

I wish we had access to the scripts from this past season. I'm curious to know what was adlibbed/extra touches from L/N. Probably not lines of dialogue, but I can see actions being added in, not part of the script. Carriage scene feels like many things were improvised there, unless the script did say <Colin kisses/sucks on Pen's boob> BUT I don't think it would. Seems that was all Luke. And I feel like mirror scene, well when they were on the sette, that definitely had some extra in there. I also feel when Colin kisses her hand in his sweet, gentleman's way, why would I not be surprised to find out those might just be an extra touch thrown in by Luke too? I wish we could know!
Also, I keep seeing fans of them wanting to "hard launch" when they do figure it all out, BUT am I the only person who thinks they may not want to do that? They may want to just keep their relationship private as they can. I can see them dropping hints or clues that let us know, but never fully confirming it and I can respect that.

The "romantic" meal that Nic describes in this clip, it would suggest she was on a date with someone to celebrate Valentines Day the night before the event, champagne and oysters doesn't scream a nice meal out with friends.
Assuming it was a date with E (or someone else), how does that play into your timeline? Do you think N started a relationship sometime after s3 and that's why L went off whoring and scoring around the place, eventually settling with A as N was taken?
i dont think this is particularly romantic?? like Nic loves fancy stuff and food! and has been to fancy dinners with her friends before. also fish/seafood for a romanitc dinner is not a great choice imo. also she deserves to eat something fancy especially for a big event like this especially since it was the first one in the tour and she was probably really nervous
and no i don't she ever dated Eamon. i think E has a giant crush on her (so real of him) but i dont think its reciprocated. ive never seen her look at him/interact with him the way she does with Luke.
i think Nic and Luke dated during s3 pt 2 filming but broke off after/near end of Lukes play cause Nic was insecure, has some relationship/romantic trauma and didnt know how to cope well with a lover boy like Luke + pt 2 specifically eps 7 & 8 probbaly made that worse, and she wasnt sure if Lukes feelings were real cause his love style is so similar to Colins and i think Luke has been in love with her forever and was blindsided/really hurt when she said they needed a break (not a relationship is done for life break but lets just breathe for a moment) and thats why we got a hbs.
Luke clearly made Nic believe in love again and i dont think she would ever be with someone thats not him + it would be dickish and ooc of her imo to play with Eamon like that when shes in love with Luke.
