We did 4 sets of 20 reps alternating with and without the band (2 sets with and 2 sets without). The Inaugural BLKHKY Father’s Day Skate was a hit. We learned. We laughed. We had a great time just being on the ice together. The highlight of the morning was by far the stick swapped 3v3 game. In the end, hockey is just a game, and we are all blessed everyday that we are able to play it. #NHLBOUND

#FBF I’ve been getting a lot of questions recently about being more explosive on the ice. For me, this was one of my favorite exercises to perform when I was in the power phase of my offseason. It worked on my explosiveness and also muscle endurance. I always tried to move the weight as fast as possible, no matter whether it was just the bar or 275 lbs. Give this one a try, and let me know how it goes. Shout out to @twistwhitby I learned so much there about what it takes in the gym to be a true professional athlete, and I used to wear that shirt with pride. #NHLBOUND (at Sport&Health Pike&Rose)
