It ends up the kid living here and his neighbor also play NHL2k4 on the regular, 2v2 online. So here we go, NY Rangers VS Boston Bruins. After the first two periods we were winning and it was apparent Boston kids were not appreciating the obvious hooking my friend was doing. Going into the 3rd period I whispered to him, "Stop hooking, they are getting really mad." So he cools it with the hooking and they come back to a 1 goal deficit.

Now, I can replay this moment perfectly in my head to this day. Less then 2 minutes left, Boston Bruins are on a 2-on-1 coming into our zone. I'm controlling the 1 defensemen and I see the 2nd defensemen come into the top of the screen catching up to the play....I know he's going to do it, they know he's going to do it....so he does it....

As soon as the hooking animation starts the Boston Bruin Offense men stops moving on screen, I look over to see a punch in mid flight connect to my friends face. After a bunch of rabble, we end up outside. There was about 8 Local Boston kids there and us two, outside on the front lawn. Our local friend, the mediator, rushes us into his car and we proceed to get the fuck back to the city.
