It's my bday on the 28th and I'm finally going to finish this wizard party comic for SPX and my other upcoming fall cons!

“Sorry I… haven’t really been with anyone in a long time.”

“That’s alright,” Luke said, unable to quell the soft chuckle that came up. 

He laughed a lot, Luke realized, when he was around Din. Something about the other man just made Luke feel playful, lucky, content, like he could be himself and not this serious Jedi Knight the rest of the galaxy perceived him to be.

How he perceived himself, walking onto the bridge of Gideon’s ship and meeting Din for the first time. They had both been guarded around each other, Din moreso, but that was a long time ago.

Now Luke was here, in Din’s private quarters on his ship, content as ever and so very gone over the mandalorian-- Din. He’d taken Din’s hand, luring him inside with a very obvious look and quick strides. They had a quiet moment while they were in hyperspace and Grogu was tuckered out from his morning meditation, and Luke intended to utilize every spare second he could get, alone with Din.

He’d sprawled himself across the bed, kicking off his boots and unbuttoning his shirt wide to expose his chest and watching Din with a barely concealed smirk as he crawled up on the comforters, over to Luke, as if in a trance.

“Show me how you take care of yourself.”

Din’s helmet twitched. “... How I…”

“How you get off, silly.” Luke’s smirk grew into a full blown smile at the silent stare Din sent him.

Luke propped himself up on one elbow, fist going under his chin, tilting his head playfully. 

“When you were just some bounty hunter in the cold, dark galaxy… with no one to keep you warm at night.”

Din crawls over Luke, a puff of laughter like a scratch in the air causing a shit-eating grin to pull at Luke’s lips.

“When you weren’t there to help me out?”

“Exactly.”
