I have two very important things I need to talk about. Ok. More like things that are holding my mental health together right now in this especially tumultuous time.

First off, if you didn't know, @kisahawklin recently started Podficcing (cold reading) my fic Never Forget, Never Forgive, and its absolutely fabulous and fun and she just finished up and also did the extras and I had to give it a shoutout because its surreal to hear words from my brain exit someone else's mouth and I'm honestly so appreciative. It's such a big fic to read out loud.

So @waterloggedowl has done it again, bigger and better for this year's Fanfic Writer's Appreciation Day. Some might recall that some time ago she did a book bind of NFNF, well now they're back with a WHOLE SET. She redid NFNF as well as the sequel Paper Memories. I am literally still reeling these are the best things I've ever seen!!!!

Look at this shit. LOOK AT IT. TGCF official Hardbacks wish they had what my fanfiction has lmao. Literally now the coolest books on my shelf (that no one I know can ever ever ever pick up and read god help me bc no one knows of my supremely indulgent new pasttime nor that I, an infamous aroace, fucking loves danmei).

Three gorgeous covers, and each one has a different printed inside cover. Each has a 'red thread' bookmark string and a decorative red bead and a butterfly pendant. The edges are painted gold, which is basically the best thing ever and matches so beautifully with the metallic cover art.

This fic book-binding was a marvelous gift from @optionalwarninglabels! I got all distracted showing my friends and totally spaced on making a post about it. It really is an amazing bind and it means a lot that it's of my first fanfic! So much thought went into all the little details. The cover is velvety and the sides painted in the same gold as the lettering. There's so many little details like the blood on the peach tree roots!! (if you know you know)

It was also still a part of Him. He wondered what one of its peaches would taste like. What would it even mean for a believer to consume a part of their God?

Would that be worship or blasphemy?

I genuinely lost my mind felt the need to in internet terms knock on your front door with flowers and cookies because AHHHH

May I just say: I love absolutely everything about NFNF the series! It was the first Coffin Rescue Fic I've read, especially with SO!! MUCH!!! GORGEOUS!!!! ART!!!!!

I really really appreciate the amount of work and effort you've put into it, because I know it can't be easy coming up with such amazing plots and ngl the characterisation is on point

Anyway just wanted to say thank you for putting this series out into the fandom world!! Sending love and good vibes <333

Thank you so much! Tbh I can hardly look at the art from NFNF now lol but the curse is I'll feel that way eventually about what I'm drawing now too. Alas. The plots are mostly just every indulgent idea I've had for fics before I was ballsy enough to start writing them down 😂😂 but thank you. I reread parts of the book often to make sure my characterization doesn't get too far removed and I'm kinda paranoid about it. Always nice to hear I'm not screwing that up tho haha.
