“We’ve known for some time now that our politicians have sold out the Irish people and our future, but seriously, now they are literally selling off a large bit of the country to a rich billionaire so that they can establish an autonomous city for a large immigrant population to live in.
And of course, as per usual, we didn’t get a vote on this. This wasn’t put to the people, in the same way that the people didn’t get to vote on the UN Migration Pact. It was just decided for them. Or we didn’t get to vote on whether we wanted direct provision centers throughout rural Ireland.
At this point, Ireland has been reduced to being little more than a gigantic hotel, and the people who live here are nothing more than guests of that hotel, with no right to an ancestral claim of ownership of these lands.”
