I had this great realisation that Sneasel sounds mad close to ‚weasel‘ and whoops I went deep into the Japanese folklore of the Kamaitachi, which are lightning fast blade wielding weasels who cut your legs in cold climates.

Day 68 - Scythe Kamaitachi
This spirit rides in the wake of other kamaitachi, delivering several shallow cuts to anyone unfortunate enough to stand in its path.
ℕ𝕀𝕆ℍ 𝟚 | Kamaitachi
A Kamaitachi is said to ride the wind, slashing at its victims with biting gales. Folktales about a yokai shrouded in wind are rife throughout Japan, with some regions using the word "Kamaitachi" to refer to whirlwinds themselves. In the Shikoku region, Kamaitachi is known as Nogama ("wild sickle" in Japanese) due to a belief that a sickle abandoned after clearing the grass for a grave will eventually turn into this yokai.

"Letting my ghost go..."
drawing I made last year, inspired by the song "O Fantasma" by Kamaitachi. It's one of those songs I hold really close to my heart — it touched me deeply ever since I first heard the demo.
I'm not sure if there are English subtitles for it, but if not, I can post the lyrics here hahaha.

WILDHEARTS
I’ve been in a sluggish mood lately so trying to hype myself up with some more upbeat music. I made a mix of my favorite old skool 80’s and 90’s visual kei and “proto” visual kei artists. The music styles from this era were very much inspired by the hair metal, early punk, and glam rock movements. Going for vibes that are rebellious, high energy, youthful, and free spirited. 😎
