SOPPING WET SCENARIOS
Like he cared. It was summer, that meant the rain was warm. The sky was screaming at the top of its lungs, without any lightning, nor thunder. There was something about it that calmed the man, always did. Let his hair, and silken clothes soak. They'd dry in time. Let the relentless water pelt him. This wasn't about the summer sun being too hot. Maybe if it was just a drizzle, but this...
...This was the sky getting out emotions he'd never been allowed to get out himself. The weather doing all the work for him, that meant no need for Inuyasha to express anything at all.
For humans, however... that was different. It didn't matter what time period it was, humans got sick in the rain. This was an open expanse, and those sensitive ears had picked up the sound of footsteps rushing... due north. The smell was human. By his knowledge, the common cold could kill what was the fragility of human life.
So he moved. Quickly, in form of a sprint. Wet grass between his toes, silver hair flowing behind him, running never failed to make Inuyasha feel like his heart was beating all over again. Even if it only lasted for that moment alone. With no more than a mere leap, something that didn't take him too far into the sky, he still easily cleared the path, landing directly in front of the other person caught in this rainstorm.
"Hey." Nonchalant, for someone who had just appeared to fall from the sky. "You have somewhere to be, right? Somewhere sheltered? You're gonna catch a deadly illness out in a storm like this." Brows were furrowed, ears intermittently flicking with each drop that fell directly upon them. "Keh, I'm gonna have to carry you, aren't I?"
Interesting. From what Noctis observed? The brunette seemed to be full of energy. He wondered if it would be okay to approach. Albeit Noct wasn't quite sure how to start a conversation. He tended to be awkward due to being sheltered for so long. Maybe the mechanic could talk about his cards? It seemed like a good place to start.
"Hey, what're ya diggin' around in the trash for? You okay?"
Ah, the downside of scavenging. Being noticed by non-scavengers.
"...Looking for parts. Clothes. Food. Something I can sell, if I'm lucky. Pretty much anything, really - you'd be surprised how many people throw away shit that can be fixed or repurposed." This is said casually, and with zero shame.
Edward has long since stopped caring what others think of his scavenging runs.
