She was happy, why couldn’t she be happy for once in her life? She went through enough with her mother; was shamed, yelled at, had her wings torn from her back.. Having to look back at the same face the one who laughed happily at her own daughter being treated like a cat, one you’d find barely alive, just wanting a human’s touch..
So why now, why let her give her kids the life she never had. WHY let her love so much, just to lose it all? Would they even remember her? Jay? Poppy? Clover? Marmalade..?
No, who were they? Maybe the other people that live in this land can tell her where she was, and why everything was going dark.
Opening her eyes, bringing a hand gently to her lips, trying to see if she could feel what warmth she had left. “I’m me again”, smiling softly as she turned in her bed. Vita, her wife, sleeping peacefully like usual.
What a silly dream. Nex? A mother? Yeah, what a dream that was.
Edit : what if Nex DOES remember everything but can’t live without her kids, ending her 3rd canon(and last) life AND TAKING MARMALADE AND CLOVERS!! Now that would be something! O m g !
THAT WOULD BE SO CRUEL BUT ALSO A MOTHERS LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDS!! That would kill me, like Nex knowing she is going to die (for whatever lore reason) so she makes the choice a kills marmalade and clover, not waiting to leave them alone in this world. As Marmalade is and ALWAYS be her first, and Clover, she might not of expected them but they have made her even more of who she is as a mother. IM CRYING JUST WRITING ANOUT IT! !

I HOPE THIS WAS OKAY!! I’ve been wanting to write more serious Nex stuff and this tweet was the breaking point!! I can’t believe it’s been almost a YEAR ! I always love when creators tell us vtuber lore!!
I’ve been wanting to do something with my favorite doomed yuri, so have some headcanons about them!!
Nex wonders if they really should stop trying to win Ash back, because there’s always the chance that Ash never remembers their relationship..
Tries to not let Ash’s comments affect her, Nex knows that it’s not real
Ash knows that Nex will be there for her no matter what, but Ash just can’t forget what she did to her
Ash still can’t believe that there was ever anything going on between her and Nex, why would she ever love the one person that made others not trust her…
Nex would do anything for Ash, like a knight following orders from their queen..
Going more into that, I believe that Nex could very much go evil and become a monster. Like she definitely has shown what she could do!
Both know that there’s still feelings for each other, even if only one of them show it..

Nex wakes up cold and dripping in sweat, it’s still hard to sleep at nights especially with the kids still missing. She pulls her knees to their chest, absentmindedly thinking on any way to find the kids in the deeper darker world until hearing noises outside of her house. Knowing it’s not beef or lace because of the fact it’s human speech. She gets out of bed to go downstairs, just to see Oli and someone else who she doesn’t remember the name of.
After finding out it was Oliver outside her house wanting to know if she got any new books. She tells them to go home for right now and she’ll use the comms in case she finds anything. Nex goes to the kitchen grabbing some water, her tail swaying lightly, as she makes her way outside to look for any new books(the books are lore related to finding the kids!!)
After looking around her main house for the book she finally decides to go to the main area of her place, as Nex is walking she sees the ugly blueish black vines on top of the traven.
“ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?” She yells to no one as she gets to the front of the building and walks up the stairs just to get a glimpse of the book laying right there on the ground..
She opens the book to see cords.. CORDS!? This could help her! She might be able to get her babies back! She’ll be able to do the only thing she lives for again! To be a mother again…
Without a second thought she quickly takes out her warp stone and tps to the Vampire Forest, to find Issac. Dizzy as she might feel, Nex couldn’t focus on that right now.
“ISSAC !! Are you home? Please be home please!!” Yelling outside his house without a care in the world, only think about her babies. Hearing a quiet “hallo” from the other side of the door, it opens to see Issac standing there.
“Nex! Good morning, what are you doing here?” He smiles softly looking at Nex looking like him just woke up himself.
“I THINK I KNOW A WHERE THE KIDS ARE!!” Wasting no time at all, Nex tells Issac to get ready to leave while she tells the others through the communicators. Leaving to go to the community center to wait for the others.

Slowly as everyone approaches the fountain in front of the community center, Nex stands proudly as this is good news! Especially if this is the cords that leads right to the kids, meaning she can get her babies back!
“Okay guys are we ready?” Nex says, trying to stay calm in front of everyone.
Getting “yes!” From everyone they tp to the labs where the deeper darker portal is, one by one the group of players hop through ready on finding their kids..
Let’s hope nothing bad happens while they are there….

For those new to Nexinks lore, If I remember correctly from the first season of MythCraft, Vita is Nex’s wife! She referred to her quite a bit during her time on MythCraft and even ended her side of things with going back to her original world. That world being with Vita and Pickles!!
So getting a little Nex and Vita being lovers in every life/ universe is super cute!! >\\<

That rotting smell along with mushrooms filled my nose. The message came up on the lab’s systems, informing us of Quill’s death to none other than my deer Dr. Moss..
But that thing wasn’t her..
My Liliana smelled of the forest and moss after rain, my Liliana didn’t smell of death and pain itself…
It was like something else took over. She looked like my Liliana, but my heart and soul(and nose) know OTHERWISE!

Before Quill’s Death
I was forgotten.
She doesn’t remember what we have. I know I was being jealous and petty, but I didn’t know this would lead to her not remembering anything but my number and that she oversaw my testing..
I was talking with curious before, defending my relationship with Dr. Moss. What we have wasn’t healthy, but it works for us. I know I’d never even leave her, even if I wanted a healthy relationship, no normal person could ever love a monster or a killer.
“Liliana Moss is mine and I am hers. If she wants to hurt me or even kill me id let it be by her bare hands.”
My body is hers alone…

Back to the Present
The smell of rot and mushrooms brings me back to the present moment.
Everyone came to see what just happened to Quill after seeing on the communicators that they lost a life. The thing is Quill was no where to be seen, the only one that was there when I should up was Dr. Moss..
I don’t really care what happens really to others, but when awake I still like to check in. People smelled sad and angry all around me, but why? By now you would think people would realize that we are replaceable.. death doesn’t seem to matter to the lab.
Lune took Dr. Moss away, but not before “Liliana” showed and told us how she was happy that Quill got hurt.
Time seemed to go by fast, but I have no clue why it seems to just blur away from my mind.. funny enough I did tell Curious that the reason Tommy didn’t remember them was because of their power. A curse to make others forget their loved ones…
For Tommy, it was Curious.
For Dr. Moss.. it was me.
They ran away, deciding that being delusional was better than the truth..

I was kept in the dark about my own lover’s secret. Everyone around her knew, she never really wanted to involve me.
“Cary” is what this soul in my Liliana, is called.
Cary was the plant experiment that was saved from the fire long ago before Dr. Moss was working at the labs.
It seems it’s taken its own turn as the one in control of Dr. Moss’s body. I can’t help but be amazed by what science can do in this new world.
And just maybe, I’ll get to play with this “new” Dr. Moss.. maybe a game of cat and mouse, and I’ll be the prize~
