💭 #WisdomWednesday 💭 🤔🤔🤔 I am waiting for many things and it is an extremely difficult season and headspace to be in, especially pretty much alone in a city with no family within 3,000 miles and not many close-knit best friends in Texas. Hard seasons suck royally. ▪ It's easy to say: "I'm patiently waiting on the Lord to change things. He will come through!" And He WILL. But it doesn't make the waiting any less difficult. And being a strong Christian of Faith doesn't mean you don't have days when you feel completely forsaken by everyone, including God. We are human. Even Christ felt that way, on the cross. Humanity is frail and tough times that have lasted years are not easy to overcome. But nevertheless, we prevail. ▪ I have gratitude, though, and I know that God is STILL freakin awesome. I'm sooo bloody thankful for God's unending Grace being evident in my life. I am so thankful for my church family. I am ever thankful for my son and my cats. ▪ I am struggling still, although some days are easier than others. God made me pretty happy-go-lucky, so I am thankful for my Roger Rabbit positivity. There are days of full-on Eeyore mode, though, and today is one of them. However, knowing this, I am outdoor bound. There is something about being outside on a glorious day that makes me appreciate being alive. So I am off for some park therapy to watch my kiddo play and smile a bit. ▪ In lieu of my mood (and since I tend to overshare on Eeyore days) I am taking a day or two to recharge and reset. I have disabled my Facebook app and am only keeping messenger for businesses purposes. Have a Blessed day and see ya in a bit!
