When I was younger my shadow was a distraction. I’d stare at it, chase it, race it. This activity frustrated everyone needing my attention. But I didn’t care. I made a friend. One dictated by my actions and the environment around me... Life is no different. On a deeper level, I view shadows as evidence of existence; they wouldn’t exist without some form of illumination. They can be manipulated, emphasized, or destroyed. But if there is shadow, there must be light. So, I just cut 6" off my hair. It's still long, but that's only because I told myself to stop. I'm nervous and it's usually my hair length or color that changes then. I'll show it tomorrow. I have been going through a major withdrawal the last couple of days. My new Dr changed my meds around a lot. She took away Savella, increased my Gabapentin and started me on Lexapro. I went through some of the most pain i've been in in a long time. I couldn't focus on anything but the pain. I know people at work noticed it too. That's the part I don't like, when the pain starts affecting my life and work. I've always been able to hide it and keep it underwraps. I just don't think i can anymore. I'm starting to think I'm not going to be able to work as much which then means i'm not going to be able to pay my bills. I've been on such an emotional roller coaster lately I'm exhausted. Well I'm always exhausted but you know what I mean.

Are any of you guys on Neurontin (Gabapentin)? and Is it working for you? I just saw my new doc last week and she started me on it. Haven't started taking it yet but she didn't really give me too much info about it. How is it supposed to help?
