I know it may seem odd at first, but really think about this and then decide to form an opinion (if u care to read it). So every day for 30 minutes i sit in darkness, literally and figuratively, to think about life. I think about how i dealt with social situations i encountered during the day. I think about texts i sent or received. I think about me. I think about others. I think about if i was nice enough. I think about if i was strong enough to stand up for myself throughout the day when need be. Was i brave enough to put my naked opinion out in the open, vulnerable to harsh judgement, and was i smart enough to know that others know things too, and to learn from my ears instead of dictating ignorantly from my mouth. Everyday, all of these things come to live under one very big roof: social interactions. WHICH in turn! Lives under an even bigger roof: People. The only reason like 70% of the things that "exist" today are bc people "made them." But, by making things, like phones and cars, aren't we ultimately trying to affect others in a positive and direct way? Nobody built cars and kept them for themselves and to this day nobody has cars. People shared ideas, traded parts, and now the whole world has cars. It seems that with the spread of knowledge, material, and emotions, literally everything that exists exists to affect others. Think about what you did today. You probably talked to people, right? What if a person u talked to went the entire day without communicating with a single individual, but you reached out and made a huge impression on him or her. Ultimately, you affected him or her. You served a very good purpose. With SO many people in the world, I feel that dictation of purpose would be ideal. the idea of "family" will not exist. Instead, pairs of individuals will live together, surviving off of the other (not literally). These people would not be entirely human but would be closely related humanoids just with powers and capabilities humans can't experience due to the limits of being human. A pair of said creatures will be born at the same time. One's purpose will be to live life and do as he or she wishes, while the other's purpose, often stronger and more powerful than the first, will be to serve, aid, and see to it that their pair partner (gender does not matter, sexual relations are irrelevant atm) enjoys himself. Like a slave, but not a slave, because now his or her life has meaning, the first has saved the life of the other through sheer existence, and the saved will make sure that this existence is therefore as enjoyable for the other as it is for them. An odd idea, i know, but nice at the same time.
