May 8, 2018 a day that I will always remember!! My goal is that Sarah, Christina, Brianna and the many others that have left us way to soon due to someone else’s poor choices are never forgotten. I am thankful to the @edciampi ~County Commissioner, MADD and @atcdrivingschool for making this day possible! I truly miss having the opportunity to share Brianna’s Story with the students. Covid took that away and now my prayer is that while attending the class online that they actually “get it” Driving is a privilege AND it needs to be taken serious! We should not be loosing our youth to car crashes because they were speeding, texting, talking on the phone, eating and the MANY other distractions we have today! Absolutely NO driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs! Students when getting in your car send the messages you need to send, find your music and put your seat belt on and head to your destination! I miss Brianna every day and every waking hour! Brianna is not with us because of a few poor choices one person made. As graduation approaches and celebrations are sure to take place please remember to celebrate responsibly! One of my main goals is that Brianna is never forgotten and she lives on through the lives that she has touched. I truly believe that God had a much greater purpose for her life. Today I met a young man that went to school with Brianna. As Brylie and I were walking up to 2nd Annual Cow Plop he said excuse me are you Brianna Cooper’s mom? Of course I smiled 🥰 I wish I could tell you how much that meant to Brylie and I. He mentioned they went to CLE and Anderson together. Thank you Cameron for making our day. She hasn’t been forgotten. If I can say one thing ~for parents that have lost a child hearing their child’s name means the world to us/them. Most people would quietly say to themselves I think that’s so and so but not say anything. I told Cameron how much it meant that he said something! He’s turned into a great young man. When people asks our advice on what to say to a friend that has lost a child, most probably want to hear their name. I could be wrong but I love hearing Brianna’s name. 9 years ago tonight... I sat in St. Mary’s Trauma center in complete shock. Family and friends sitting with me all with broken hearts. I had just signed for Brandon to have emergency surgery for a broken femur. Brylie was on her way to St. Mary’s for internal issues. Todd bouncing from a few hospitals finally making it to St. Mary’s. Bryce being treated and released. To finding out Brianna did not survive the accident the paramedics did everything they could! (I know they did) Gods plan was different! I asked God why? Knowing I wouldn’t get an answer. Still today trying to figure it out. I do know she’s a positive force doing some Greatthings! We want to say a HUGE thank you to the amazing Martin County Fire Rescue, Stuart Fire Dept, Sheriff Dept, State Troopers and to the beautiful souls that stopped to help my family that night. Your love and compassion did not go unnoticed. My family thanks you. Brianna may not be with us here on earth but she’s shining on thru Bryce Brandon and Brylie ⚓️🦋❤️ May God continue to guide them.
