When I saw this I thought she was going to do that like "Oops! Sorry about the blood!" *wipes hands off* "Let's get out of here!" kind of thing, but she just. Almost doesn't seem to notice the blood? At all?

Prospera gives Suletta that little pep talk and then we get this.

Somehow we've gotten into Bioshock 1 spoiler territory, but is Prospera's "Move Forward, Gain Two" phrase like a "Would you kindly?" kind of thing for Suletta?? They haven't really foreshadowed (at least I don't think?) any kind of Sleeper Agent control that can be held over Enhanced People but. I'm assuming that Eri is dead (especially since the events of the prologue happened 21 years ago and Suletta is supposed to be 17) and Suletta is an Enhanced Person with Eri's face (considering Elan's comment about "I wonder who's face she has?" or however it went.) But. Cyber Newtypes in UC Gundam have always had some element of control placed over them. I'm not saying it's an exact 1:1, but it's like Suletta was upset over people getting shot, Prospera gives that little pep talk, and then she's like "Okay! Let's get killing!"

Not to mention, just visually this moment

Suletta stepping out from her little alcove, towards her mom, with this blood spattering the ground. There's no blood on Suletta or where she was sitting and now she's crossing this threshold.

It's not super easy to show with still images, but when her eyes shimmer and wobble as well (like literal seconds before the above image).

Anime symbolism of her mother instilling confidence in her? Or visual cue of her Cyber Newtype Enhanced Person programming activating?

More ep. 14 spoilers, I guess <3

But I swear this movie had more Star Wars vibes than any other entry in the Gundam series, ranging from the Imperial March Adjacent soundtracks to fucking Iron Mask basically just being Darth Vader.

I had a bad day yesterday and today, so I didn't watch ep. 14 until literally just now (I am doing better, for all my eternally worried fans that I definitely have on here <3). I am incredibly frustrated though because like the big plot point thing got spoiled for me literally this morning on Facebook like c'mon.

Anyways I like The People's Gundam Left Unity Society (even if it is a clunky name), if you happen to be on Facebook. It is less insane than Gundam Mobilesuit Posting, as much as I enjoy that group.
