In regard to my last post, I did contact the blog to ask why they referred to autism as a “disease”. I shared the article because I thought the information from the study was relevant, but I do not at all like the terminology used and have contacted them over it.
You don’t catch autism. It’s not like cancer. It’s nothing to be cured, and referring to it as such is dangerous and frankly insulting.

This seems like a long shot, but do you know of any neurologists on tumblr, or someone that could answer questions about the brain's quirks?
I don’t know of any actual neurologists here on tumblr. Im sure someone does. Tumblr is growing everyday so I’m sure there is someone out there. I have a limited knowledge in neuroscience. I could answer some questions to an extent. But Neurosciencestuff is a great blog that deals specifically with the brain. Also Neuromorphogenesis is a superb site also.
