We definitely have pain-related stuff that isn't structural problem but a brain signal problem, and there is a very decent possibility that seizure/syncope stuff we are having is neuroplastic (the word we use for non-structural things). we just can't get any help for that either, if it is that.

Like we are pretty sure our immune reaction that is going on is also because of brain and nervous system stuff, but most help we can get is doctors who tell us to try therapy and if that hasnt worked then clearly we havent tried hard enough. (And then the therapists and psychiatrists who made it worse.) So we are pretty stuck.

Like there definitely is validity in the complaint of doctors seeing normal test results after round one and failing to look deeper. And there is also the fact that a lot of chronic illnesses and pain are likely neuroplastic and not due to structural problems in the body (can only be determined after actual thorough investigation). But at least where I am, doctors do not know anything at all about the non-structural stuff and neither does anyone else and there aren't any resources for it so we're just on our own.
