omg thank you so much <3 I'm glad you enjoyed my writing :) it's very much been my way of venting about my least favorite game canon and replacing parts with my own better canon.

and yes, you are definitely not alone I promise, there are people out there who don't appreciate liara's writing in 2, especially concerning the LOTSB dlc... I was never the biggest liara fan in one, but the way two handled her and that dlc ruined her for me between her stealing your corpse and you not really getting a chance to be mad about it (or tell anyone) to the damn armor shrine.

tbh I feel like it's so difficult to actually criticize her for these actions in some parts of the fandom. too many are so quick to defend her for these actions and I'm like... yeah no, sorry. what she did is disgusting even if she saved shepard's life, and citadel dlc shows how disastrous her actions could've been with the clone as proof. she's a forced bestie and it's so frustrating.

I just sent @stanley--barber a message that I’m now super sure that Diego’s guilty pleasure is The Princess Bride. He watches it for the first time with Diana, who loves the film already, and he just has so many Feelings about it. Catch him saying, “As you wish” to Diana.

Slow dancing in the middle of the night in Diana’s apartment? It’s more likely than you would think.

Diana and Luther do get along pretty well eventually but during S1, you would (are going to?) see a bit of conflict due to the way that Luther has treated Diego. (She’s out here like, “I totally sympathize with everything that you’ve gone through, like your father making you into a King Kong-hybrid and sending you to the moon, but if you insult Diego again, I’m going to stand up on my tip toes and twist your ear right off-”)

Five is Shocked by Diana’s role in Diego’s life, partially due to typical sibling shenanigans but also just because of who Diego was when Five first disappeared. Diego, the mama’s boy with the stutter and a sense of lowkey machismo? In a serious relationship with a beautiful and mature woman? Is he in the right dimension, let alone timeline???
