図書館でたまたま手にした奈良原一高の「人間の土地」を見て写真家になろうと急に思い立った私、それまで写真なんて壁に貼ってあるペラペラの広告くらいにしか思ってなかった私はカメラを手にしたのはいいものの、何を撮って良いのやらいきなり途方に暮れるわけであります。
夏の日、そんなわけで「写真を撮る」という行為より先に「写真家になる」という目標を立ててしまった私は一本目のフィルムで自分が何を撮って良いのかわから相当苦心したのを今でも覚えています。これもその一本目の１枚。
確か横浜駅北口出てすぐだったと思いますが、何を撮りたかったのか今にはなっては知るすべもありません。
