This is an answer to this post which I want to adress. 

WHY YES, I am very aware that Trucy is Apollo’s half sister, much like I am also very aware she’s Phoenix’s ADOPTED daughter. Also, Apollo has never been adopted by Phoenix, nor have they ever acted as if they were in a father-son relationship. Have we played the same game or is your memory that convenient?

THERE IS NOTHING INCESTUOUS ABOUT NARUODO AND I DUNNO WHERE YOU GUYS GOT THAT IDEA.

IT IS BULLYING. A friend of mine has even been threatened, and in my land we tend to call it “bullying”. How do I know? I asked her:

So no, it is not a “call out”. It’s bullying. And guess what? It almost made her give up on one of the few things that gave her comfort when she was going through a hard time. I had to watch my friend struggle to give up one of her sources of happiness in hard times because the Fandom is so incredibly toxic, it made her feel like she either let go of it or she’d drown in her feelings. She could’ve killed herself, all because a bunch of misinformed haters beat her down time and time again for something that is not remotely wrong.

AGAIN FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK: THERE’S NOTHING INCESTUOUS ABOUT NARUODO AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE YOU GUYS GOT THAT IDEA.

I am sorry you had to go through that. It upsets me that you had to go through that, no one deserves it. Things is: Apollo is not Phoenix’s half-son. They’re not remotely related. Their connection through Trucy doesn’t work because, y’know, SHE’S ADOPTED.

ONCE AGAIN WITH PASSION: THERE’S NOTHING INCESTUOUS ABOUT NARUODO AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE YOU GUYS GOT THAT IDEA.

Also, again, have we played the same games? Because by immediately thinking that Naruodo is “molestation”, you’re implying that Phoenix will molest Apollo, and that is such a great insult to his character I am baffled. Or are you insinuating that Apollo is the one doing the molesting? Because that’s also an insult to his character and I am, yet again, baffled.

You people need to stop thinking that age different equals “molestation” and you guys need to stop labeling the older person in the relationship as “molestors”. It’s clouding your judgement, reflecting badly on you as a person and it’s downright harmful as all Hell. So many movements to stop such outdated and untrue visions and y’all still cling to them like a lifeline.

AGE DIFFERENCE DOES NOT EQUAL “MOLESTATION” AND THE OLDER PERSON IN A RELATIONSHIP IS NOT ALWAYS A MOLESTOR.

ALSO, GENTLE REMINDER THAT APOLLO BEING PHOENIX’S SON IS ABSOLUTELY FANON. IT’S A HEADCANON. IT’S NEVER CONFIRMED EVEN THOUGH CAPCOM HAS A KNACK FOR GIVING APOLLO FATHER FIGURES.

But, then again, this Fandom does seem to not be able to dinstinguish fanon from canon, seeing as a lotta people seems to think Hobo Phoenix is an inconsiderate and manipulative asshole when it couldn’t be further from the truth. Or that he adopts anyone who happens to be younger than him.

TL;DR: Naruodo is not incestuous nor it is a “molestation” kinkship or whatever. Apollo and Phoenix are two conscenting adults with a healthy friendship (crazy, I know). Phoenix is not a pedo or a molester, Apollo is not being molested or being a molester, y’all just wanna hate on the ship because it’s not your OTP.

(By the way, you guys do know you can ship more than one ship, yeah? Or, if it’s not you cup of tea, you can just block the tag of the ships you don’t like and go on with your life. Both options use your energy better than hating on others.)

Now, I need to thank you, @rockabyebirdie​, for giving me this chance to explain why Naruodo is not problematic. If you think Naruodo is problematic, that’s a YOU problem and you should probably check what you know about the characters, it’s not good to be misinformed.
