Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?
i feel like there are a lot of things i re-use, like phrases, even though i try not to. other things that come up:
coffee shops are a recurring setting. they're just really handy to have characters meet at.
characters smoking
my incredibly vague knowledge of nyc's geography
interpersonal drama
incredibly vague mentions of crime fighting bc i don't know how crime works lol
smut
stressed monologues
characters pining for each other while having sex
the characters are queer and/or mentally ill
Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?
i think in terms of research and the sheer dearth of writing, probably stripped. bc i've watched a ton of videos about bdsm for this fic (like. a lot) and i have a bunch of fics planned for it. hopefully, this isn't a fic i'll have to shelve forever bc of hubris.

i'm looking forward to writing every me and every you bc that fic has been in the making for like 2 years now. i like the drama in this fic and like the quiet intimacy that builds between matt and peter.

7. What is your deepest joy about writing?
i think my deepest joy about writing is having an idea and then having the persistence to bring that idea to life on the page. even if maybe it's not perfect.
it's also nice to think someone might be looking for that exact fic and being happy that it exists.
how do you deal with writers block?
usually if i'm insanely blocked to where i can't write, like from burnout or just. the words aren't coming. i try to take a break and watch movies, listen to music, read/listen to a book, listen to a podcast. whatever will relax me and possibly eventually inspire me to write something later when i'm not feeling exhausted or burned out from work or general life stuff.
