I feel very pessimistic about The Lost Boys turning into a show too. As minor as this is, I’m worried it’ll be hard to find content for the movie in Tumblr’s tags once the show comes out, especially if it’s named the same like the movie.
I feel the same way you do actually. I was just talking about this with a friend last night. If it turns into a well liked show, I don’t want the original canon to meld into this canon. Especially where content is concerned. I feel like they should be two very separate entities. David in the 1987 version is not going to be David in this TV series. At least not as far as I’m concerned. Having a blog specifically about that, I really hope there won’t be any confusion when it comes to that point. I’m going to stick with the original canon. I hope that makes sense. LOL I don’t want to have to change everything on my blog to make sure people know that. Maybe I’m thinking into it too much.
