Hoe]w did Nega Steelbeak and Nega Quackerjack first meet.
Nega-Quackerjack learned about FOWL and Nega-Steelbeak pretty early on in his superhero career. He’d just come up with his costume and had gotten back into inventing, using his creativity and engineering skills to create toy-themed weapons and devices to make fighting crime easier. Between his inventions and natural acrobatic skills, he did pretty well on his own stopping the smaller-scale petty criminals, but the first time he ran into a large-scale organized crime ring he found himself in over his head and nearly got himself killed. Thankfully, he stumbled upon a case that Steelbeak and FOWL had been working on for a while and was able to team up with them to take down the criminals.
While some of the other higher-ups in FOWL tried to lecture Quackerjack about his recklessness, Steelbeak was impressed by the things Quackerjack was able to make on his own out of such limited materials that didn’t really look like weapons. After talking the matter over with FOWL High Command, Steelbeak offered Quackerjack a deal: Quackerjack would make and design weapons and gadgets for FOWL and, in exchange, FOWL would pay him accordingly, provide him with whatever raw materials he needed, and provide him with a communicator in case of emergencies.
Also, while not part of the official original deal, Steelbeak started giving Quackerjack combat training on the side, teaching him how to use his acrobatics to his advantage against larger opponents. After his combat proficiency increased, Quackerjack became a much more competent hero and was made a free-lance agent for FOWL that they could call on for special missions (kind of like Darkwing with SHUSH in the regular universe).
